Hi, does anyone know of a good C43 AMG for sale prefably in Silver or Blue with most or all the optional extras.........

i.e. Xenons, folding mirrors, sunroof, electric rear blind

Or anyone thinking of selling theirs

Cheers mate all the one's you have posted i have seen before. This one is my favorite and is owned by a guy called Tim.
It has the spec that i want and the right colour, but i want one under 90,000 miles

I know that it is going to be hard to find, but am willing to wait until the right one comes along

its not even near high.... and by this mileage most of the costly niggles are taken care of, id rather a looked after 120k c43 over most low mileage cars.. most c43s in its life cycle need a gearbox refurb and need it at about 100k. most need a new control plate, CPS, and MAF all which go at about 70 - 100k mark.. i know because all of my Mercedes have had this happen in that mileage range, best Mercedes i have owned is a c180 with 156k on the clock... miles i had done.. previous owner changed the MAF and CPS at around 110k. it got to around 155 156k with next to zero problems...

some people might think im talking out my back door but these are my experiances, espeicaly after owning 2 w202s not amg but they share a lot of the same basic parts...

I agree with most of what you say but i don't mind changing the gearbox conductor plate/ oil and filter MAF etc. I know the crankshaft pulleys go wrong, but i would put a one piece alloy one on anyway.
Not seen a CPS go on this model very often, normally the flywheel contact needs cleaning with some sand paper while running to cure non start faults.

I have one with 47k miles fmbsh xenons/sunroof in silver do sometimes think about selling it but have not decided yet.

Hi my cousin is about to sell his 1998 c43 amg in silver with 1 previous owner 57000 miles with every single factory option, 2 tone white and black seats elec, heated seats, glass sunroof, front n rear parking sensors, those pump seats, xenons self leveling headlights, folding mirrors and elec rear blind, etc.

the car has not a single bit of rust and is mint/immaculate, showroom condition,

mods

18 amg alloys, light smoked tints, full supersprint cat back exhaust (sounds stock)slightest tone) coilovers. tv dvd sat nav front load only (freeview), cd changer.
amp sub all professionaly installed well over 2500 quid.
every single receipt for every mod probably £6000 of receipts with fsh.

i cant really say more than this but i can say for sure it is probably one of the best left in the country with confidence and when i put some pic up will see for yourself
