C43 fog lights HID

I have a spare set of Hid kit which i'm thinking of putting into the foglights my questions are would this be possible? would it be legal? and lastly would the wires take the extra power?

aftermarket HID's are for show use only because on a factory fit car they have level sensors fitted so to not blind oncoming traffic saying that theres plenty of people around with them as for the wiring i have retro fitted these in the past and have had no problems with the standard wiring coping with them as the ballast resistors deal with all the extra power, hope this helps

The W202 fog fitment is H1 so im guessing a H1 kit will fit but in terms of legality thats a complete different story and in short illegal however these days HID kits are improving you get R and sheilded varients that aid to stop the beam spreading.

I think the hid kit is H1 the single pin one but will have to check
