C43 for 3k anyone?

That C43 needs more than just a gearbox. Both front and rear bumpers need work. The driver side headlamp needs attention and then theres the badges on the bootlid tht need to be removed for proper ones in the OEM place. As others will agree its still too expensive.

Track car perhaps..... strip the interior and sell it for £££ dont worry about the panels.

Its a dog - Its had a front crash, its not just the headlight that needs attention, all of the front has shifted - the front slam panel will prob be dented + need replacing.

-Drivers door is dented
-Passenger wing dented
-Front bumper bar missing
-Front plate plinth is missing
-No stereo
-High level brakelight maybe missing, you should be able to see it through the tinted window (I could be wrong)

God knows what else is wrong!

But with a dodgy gearbox is it even worth 3k? doubt it!

I couldnt live with that interior ether ;)

run for cover. even the front wheel arches are bent. it must had had a severe frontal

Hi,
The gearbox in a C43 AMG is unique and not fitted to any other MB model, retails at £3200 from MB,it will probaly need a new TG too thats another £1000 from MB.
If the gearbox can be repaired still expect a bill in the region £1500-2000 possibly more.
That interior is a Designo, colour combo more commonly found in W210 E55's, and quite rare in a W202, most C43's Seemed to have had plain black or Designo charcoal/silver (often described as black/white).
Still the car does have quite a nice spec. with what appears to be Xenons and folding mirrors.

Agree with some of the others, it looks like a dog TBH - why would you want a neglected car for £3k that needs a few grand spent on it, when nice ones aren't much more.

IMHO it's worth a little more than £1.5k though - bet it'd sell instantly if that was the price ;)

Will

It's true, there are some really well-care for examples for 4-5k It's a privilage to own and care for a C43, I hope to keep mine for many years.

I think thats the way the market is headed, some rough ones, but i've seen very very few minters for sale over the last 2 years. I imagine most owners are keeping them for the long-term. Who can blame them?

I see it at £2k and no more to be honest.

Wouldnt be worth the aggro of brining it back to mint as you can buy a straight one for what it would stand you in.

I'm sure i've heard of a gent fitting a gearbox from an E55 in his C43...not that one of those is any easier to find...

Anyway....run! just sickens me that someone can have a car like that so badly repaired!!!

Hey, nice car there :-)

It never ceases to amaze me how many sellers can't even be bothered to hoover the car out properly before taking photo's. Makes you wonder what else he hasn't bothered to do???
