Where is it located? Whats the best way to remove it and put a new one in? My mate says take the fuse out for the fuel pump so you have less fuel in the filter is this correct or is there a better way?

Double post.

If it is the same as the rest of the W202s including the V8s it is under the car next to the offside rear wheel under the plastic panel.

I see no reason to remove the fuse. Not that much fuel comes out when you do this job anyway.

Make sure the hoses are in good condition. The 202's and 208's suffer with hoses perishing in this area.

Fuel will come out no matter what you do. What normally works to reduce how much comes out is to remove the fuel filler cap which de pressurises the system.
