C43 Limp home mode?

Hi Everybody
My C43 with 99k miles has developed a problem.
On hard acceleration gets to 3000 revs and then go onto limp
home mode. It runs just on the left bank of cylinders. If you turn of
it of wait a few seconds and start it runs ok till you put your foot down
again. Sometimes it runs fine for a few days, then problem back again.

Surely worth plugging in to STAR for a proper diagnosis or to read any fault codes first.

Look for a decent local MB specialist close to you. I'm not familiar with Oxford but there has to be a few nearby

Curious as to why a faulty MAF would only affect the LH bank of cylinders, unless that's just a guess or a coincidence.

Have to agree, I would be getting it plugged into STAR before I spent any money on it.
