To be honest those figures sound a bit high to me but i do stand to be corrected.

It is under a hundred bhp per litre ..... a well tuned normally aspirated modern engine should easily be able to produce that .....

Hell, my CRX VTEC (built in 1990) used to make nearly that .... (1.6l / 155 bhp)
