My cars headlights look tinted to me, if so then I want to remove the film, I cant quite tell by looking at the edges of the enclosure, it's possible, but could also just be my imagination

If you have one then please tell me how this compares to yours

Petrol Pete will be along soon to clarify, maybe related to that engine bay fire he had? ;)

3M do a good kit though if they need restoration/polishing, £20 and a bit of time can have them looking like new :thumb:

Unless you’re wearing sunglasses they are unlikely to be tinted :D I had the same model and after time they do start to go a little cloudy.
Plenty of videos on YouTube how to clean them from using toothpaste to sandpaper.
Nice motor. :)

No mate, when the got mashed up in the tyre wall at Snetterton it was all I could get online off AliBaBa in time before the car was due at the 'Run what ya brung (midnight edition) at Santa Pod where they insist you have working headlights for some reason ?? :dk: . Didn't make much difference in the end because the diff blew on run 9 that night...$hit happens.

Hmmmmmm
To me it looks like the internal surfaces of the lights are black rather than chrome. If they had lens film tinting it would fail its MOT. Are the beams as bright as you think they should be?

..not as bright as I expected for Xenons, but my other Merc is a new shape E class with fancy trick intelligent light thingy so very bright
