C63 507 Model Register

It’s amazing how the 507 prices on AT have been inflated over last few months- personally think it’s dealers trying to artificially inflate market. The only 507 over £40k that sold recently is red coupe with 14k miles which I was tempted to buy at 43k - as I know owner and car was mint but few options and resprayed - ultimately I always wanted an estate so very happy with my car - to me low mileage will command a premium but a well maintained higher mileage car is fine too - just my thoughts
 
That’s great- more than happy to see prices go higher- interesting I brought my RS2 in 2014 for £15k as it was a car a loved when younger- kept on saying was going to sell as not using - but advised to hold on - now it’s a £60k+ car - Nogaro blue extremely rare - and that’s why I went for the magno estate
 
I dont think they are over inflated. Its where the market is headed. The 507 is highly desirable and rare. In saloon and estate form even more so. Brilliant cars, already regarded as one of AMG's finest hours. At 57k, thats good value, considering where these will be in a few years...

Good point, the market will undoubtedly catch up to the value of that motor 👍🏼

Is anyone familiar with that particular car? Wondering if it’s on the register 🤔

The wheels have been repainted, losing the silver rim...few mods here and there...but we cant be fussy as saloons are extremely rare, so its a case of taking what you can!
 
It’s a seller’s market and there is genuinely a shortage of cars. For example in the USA there will be no new AMG models next year due to shortage and there is rumours this will feed in to Europe too for most of the different AMG models.

I think 507 bottomed out a few years ago and now they will appreciate and hold their values. I’ve seen all the high mileage ones sell and a few others not on AT.

I do think prices will go like Europe in terms of ridiculous. People have realised this is the last NA engine and the noise is theatre. It seems more collectors are chasing them too recently and a lot of them (a shame) are not being driven.

Have to agree and you pretty much are echoing my sentiments from earlier in the year where the german market went crazy and now the uk market is headed in that direction.
Spot on that collectors are beginning to realise what these cars mean in terms of AMG heritage etc and in many ways that dictates the market. When one sells for 60k the next one will be higher etc. Also as time goes on only a few decent ones will remain, parts will become scarce etc and then prices will go higher.
Modded examples will be the ones left behind as true enthusiasts/collectors generally dont bother with these...

I’ve not made my mine yet. I need two as I got rid of my daily driver too. I am thinking either another AMG maybe E63 AMG S or M5 facelift as a daily and then get a 911 GT3/AMG GTR as a weekend car. The 507 is the current weekend car. However, I am two minds about selling it might just keep it if I can find a bigger house! I need more garages lol.

Some serious automobiles there mate! The E63S is a serious car, I’d personally go with that one 😎 in regards to the weekenders, have you driven both? I might get lynched for this but 911 GT3 is life goals 😍
 
I saw 1 in Blackpool today in red and it didn't really excite me the aston Martin in front looked a meaner car it was new so not sure which 1 it was it did sound nice 😀
 
That's NOT a 507
I wish mine was £155 a year to tax 🤣
It was for sale in jan for 16k
