C63 AMG - general info/issues etc

Taken o a look on MB approved used site for comparitive purposes. 2 cars with PPP and neither with carbon kit nor LSD, otherwise similar spec to my Broadspeed quoted price. Dealer price just under 60k. Broadspee3d price for new build car with everything I want including carbon/LSD 62k. Net £0 saving, in fact net minus a grand saving with the spec. Unfortunately I am not prepared to skimp on spec.

I'm off to my dealer in the morning to sign my paperwork (so far I've only dealt with them on the phone but things are moving very fast for me now...i got my letter yesterday saying I should be able to collect in about 6 weeks :D).

Now, as I stated, I got a deal which is better than Broadspeed and there was no way I was skimping on spec. They're also a direct MB Retailer so seem to be able to get allocation better than franchises (although this is just an opinion and may not be correct).

PM me if you want actual details of the deal and if you want me to see if they will offer the same discount to you.

Just realised you won't be able to PM due to the silly rule on this forum which doesn't allow PM's until you've had 30 posts. Email me [email protected]

OK - now I am very excited! I was already looking forward to my C63 PPP but now I'm realising I got a great deal too! Got a fully loaded demo with all the extras bar Designo leather close on 10k under list from a main line dealer! Who says you can't get a discount?:bannana:

Not one of the ones thats been hooning round Brooklands flat out sideways for it's whole life is it ? ;)

Don't try and burst my bubble!!!!

CheifSki - Best not to post the dealer directly! but happy to chat via email?
Gridlock - Yes - it has Performance Pack Plus and LSD.

Simply because whilst I haven't scanned in any depth, I have not seen others reference specific dealers on the main threads. As mentioned, happy to share with those who are interested.

How long do you have to wait for that? When were the first PPP cars delivered to the UK?

10k is a bloody good saving!! Well done.

Can you sort me out with the dealer you used please..how much did you pay in the end?
(to palmball from one of your earlier threads)

Don't tell Palmball :D

Is it full PPP+ with the LSD?

Arrrghhhh - this is terrible. I tried so hard to get a decent deal on a PPP C63 and managed just over 5% plus some free bits like window tinting, fire exinguisher, cupholder etc. On my car, this was equivalent to around £3k which means a £10k discount is simply astounding.

How was this discount acheived as the dealers have an 8% margin unless the car is first registered as a demo and then they have more (or they give away other bonuses??). Can someone please PM the dealer details to me?

I used Mercedes-Benz Retail Central Birmingham and have been astounded by the service they have given...although I'm doubting the deal now I've read this!

My car came to £66k with all the options and I'm paying just under £62.5k. I always thought it was an OK rather than outstanding deal but there were some dealers flatly refusing to do any discount!

Thanks mate much appreciated!! that my local dealer aswell!

Great guys in there - they really look after me. I have numerous dealers much closer to me as I live in the East Midlands but I'm prepared to travel the 35-odd miles to them for the service I get (see one of my other posts about the loan car they've given to me!)

If you're after a new car, their new car sales manager is called Mark and he is particularly good to deal with!

Correct as per my initial post - it's a demo.
