C63 brake parts

Service carried out today. Told them about the grinding noise and asked them to report. No phone call all day except one telling me its ready.

Their report was:- No discs worn or grooved (even though i could feel it was not right) and pads all ok and no noise on test drive??

Drove it away and its perfect

Taking the wheel off during the service has cured / sorted something

I was told the calipers are the same part numbers, it's just the disks and pads that were different

I was told the PP and PPP discs wont fit the standard calipers and vice versa. Could be dealer bs
