C63 Car Shopping at the weekend

Hi,

Looking at buying a C63 ( 12-13plate )at the weekend after spending months of reading through reviews, threads and adverts.

Just a quick one, My e92 M3 had the I-drive system that you could check oil level, brake wear and service intervals etc aswell as a trip computer for checking current or stored faults.

Does the Mercedes have any such functions?

Any other obvious things I should watch out for like rattles, cracked wheels, idle at certain rev limit etc

In my last 2 E's (2005 & 2010) COMAND lets you check oil level, service intervals and list any current (obvious) faults. Like iDrive it also conrols tons of other features.

But I've never seen brake wear anywhere. If I understand how it works you have to hook it up to a STAR diagnostics system to access any stored fault codes (which often point as less-obvious or minor issues. And I don't know if if keeps a history if you clean them out.
