Absolutely, gorgeous, motor, Lee, that must turn heads everywhere you go, even those not particularly interested in cars. :)👍
Thanks buddy, as for turning heads, yeah its does, the biggest surprise comes from the older generation.. although not sure of it's colour or noise😁

I am not normally a fan of 'in-your-face' paintwork on cars, but I've got to admit , your C63 is awesome. The colour really works.👍👍
Thanks man, it's quite a bold colour in direct sunlight, yet can be quite subtle on a cloudy day.

+1

Great thread - your motor looks amazing! Just one question, do you have side business manufacturing / selling wash mitts? (joking aside, all makes perfect sense so will be adopting some of your methods moving forward - thank you :thumb:
😆😆, No buddy, it's all part of trying to find what products and tools work for you? Although frustrating at times when you're spending cash on products that don't deliver

As for some of my methods, hopefully you'll find them useful, sometimes it may feel like its taking you longer until you finally click with it.

Is the Koch chemie PO the same as Pol Star?
Emery paper - which one and what grade would you recommend for alacantara?

Car looks great by the way.

Lol, still have work to do yet,its not finished yet

Another little video.

This is how I add a ceramic topper or QD, to intricate areas such as grilles etc.

You could spend ages with other methods, but found this to work better

The Bigboi Blower is heated, so its dries the product without the need to buff

Ah, sorry buddy, forgot about the Alcantara.

I used 120 grit as my bobbles were quite bad, and the fabric had become very brittle. When you use the paper don't add any pressure, just wipe over the surface, if yours is only very minor, then look to 180 or 240

@LeeJV I'm not sure what i'm more in envy of the garage/equipment set up or the car!

Cars looking lovely though!

Thanks buddy, my workshop isn't a dream garage, but the tools and organisations helps

Following on again,
This time more focused on the wheel method that I tried this weekend.

I really have found the perfect combo in wheel cleaning
10ml Garage Therapy wheel shampoo into a 1ltr spray bottle. I use this like an APC on the wheels, allow to dwell while cleaning the tyres. You can see the brakes dust running off the wheel.
Rinse off.
10ml Garage therapy wheel shampoo into 500ml via foamer, followed by
Ez detail brush for barrels
Detail factory detail brush for intricate areas
Klin Korean softy wash pad for faces and spokes
CyR wheel pads for the back of the wheel spokes and hubs .

For the faces I do prefer the Klin pad, its fantastic, very soft, holds loads of product and rinses out so easy.
The CYR pad is aslo great, it can be folded, works a treat around the back of the spokes and hubs.

Followed up, by a good pressure wash rinse

Then to remove the soapy suds I've found that open rinsing is better, as it removes more of the shampoo, leaving almost no residue.

Finally wipe down with a soft 350 or 500gsm towel and a drying aid, such as Kamikaze overcoat V3.

Give the dics and calipers a spray with Bh atom Mac, and then use my blower to remove the remaining water from the barrels and between the pads.

Then for adding dressing into those hard to reach areas like mess grilles
Spray some QD on the grille, then use a blower to push the products into it.
