C63 DR 520 Estate - is it worthwhile buying?

I was thinking of buying an AMG C63 DR 520 estate; seeking anyone's views on this if it's a worthwhile purchase and a car that at least hold its value if maintained well?

It will hold it’s value better than a “normal” C63 AMG, as the DR520 was very limited in production (just 20) and so will likely have a special appeal when you come to sell it. It was put together by Mercedes-Benz UK, using some Brabus parts including the B63 tuning kit, and interior trim, so some people will be attracted to it as they believe it to be special, others may be put off as they believe it to be modified (albeit by MBUK).

Maintaining it well will help to maximise value but be prepared for that not necessarily translating to much by way of a premium over and above a poorly maintained car. Eventually it will, but that’s a long way away.

Yes, buy one if you get the chance - I know a car collector with a fine array of Mercedes (Evo 1 & 2 to name but two) and he bought a DR520 years ago to add to the collection.
