Hi mate, yeah haven't seen you on here for a long time until the other dsy with the oil issue. Was thinking I wonder how Pagzzy is getting on.

Are you not coming to the Goodwood track day, I think most of us will br down there on the 29th, if not I'm sure Rash will be up for a bit of Bluewater shopping soon and I'll hive you a shout.

Really pleased with the re map, yes I wasn't going to go for the tune but I have persuasive friends and tbh I am glad I have done now ad she is a different car.

Benjy, Black = v. nice! Looking just like new :-)

hey benjy just read through the post in detail how are you getting on with the upgrades and is there a a future plan for he exhaust?

Hi mate, yeah still really pleased with the end result with the re map I had done. I think now living with the car the most significant difference still has to be the torque the car produces which proved itself at Goodwood a few weeks back.

If I was asked now if I believe this eas the right thing to do and was it worth it, the answer has to be a big yes. Are you thinking about getting yours done?

benjy im thinking it was there any effect with the warrenty issue ?

Don't know and haven't asked, I'm not worrying about it mate.

Yeah can you ask Mihnea for me. Cheers Nige

I told you mate... MRC were brilliant and took mine from 486 ps to 520 ps. Really noticed the difference, would be really keen though to find out out they got another 25.

Hi Benjy two questions.

Did it change your insurance premium. Did you have to inform them

And two, has it impacted you standard warranty?

I don't know about Benjy's car but usually a remap will add to insurance if insurer will accept it. Best to check first.
Manufacturers warranty will go out the window IF the spot it and IF they can prove the failing was due to remap. So all engine, gearbox warranty goes but other items should be ok. But I repeat IF they notice it which is doubtful.

Hi Guys

Yes it would void the warranty if they can prove it and again yes you should tell your insurer in which most that would have insured you won't if they find out you have. Re mapped the car. Hey it a personal thing and I have taken that chance, I looked at it in that I would have had to have paid an additional £10k for a limited edition DR 520 version but ended up paying £650 for the same figures as s DR520.

Alot of the guys on here think I am mad but as I said it is a personal thing and is a small risk I am taking. If for whatever reason I wanted it put back to the original settings it's a 5 minute job to do so which I am happy with. The difference now is that my c63 is a little more bespoke than the norm and is a little louder to which has to be worth the risk :-)
