C63 gearbox fluid change

Got quoted £350 + for this by the indy I use. Mines a pre facelift with converter 7 speed. What prices have you guys had? It’s not a job I want to leave but at the same time I’ve read prices vary a lot.

Mine is obviously not a 63 but does have the converter 7 speed box, paid £400 inc vat with an a service. They drained the converter too which some dont. £350+ seems very high. Hope this helps

Like said I’ve read over the past couple of years prices range from £200 up to £500. And also like you say not in all cases is the converter drained. Also with this service the bolts should be swapped for new.
I gues the latter is left in some cases and that’s not a biggie but I would rather pay a little more knowing the job has been done properly.

We have a Land Rover Discovery for our family run around and there’s horror stories out there when it comes to lack of gearbox fluid changes.
