C63 Knocking Sound

Hi,

Just recently picked up my C63, its on an 08 plate, 50k miles and im in love!

Iv noticed a slight knocking sound when coming to a halt.

Can anyone shed some light on this if possible?

From what location ?

To me it sound like the drivers side.....

Is it from the front, rear, from brakes , from engine. you will have to give us more or a clue than driver side, as there is a whole lot of driver side and numorous places a knock could be coming from..

It seems like its coming from the engine when at a stand still, its a progressive knocking sound! It was really to see if anyone had ever encountered something similar or knew what it could be

Can you video it , so that we can hear the sound it may help identify what it is..

Cant seem to upload my video but i seem to be able to feel the knocking when my foot is on the brake at a standstill, anyone shed some light?

Check the spark plug gaps.
I had a similar issue where at tick over you could feel it through the brake pedal. However the car ran fine once it was going and the knocking was only at tick over. Also didn't throw any codes either

I think what Lee C63 said may be the problem, going to check the spark plug gaps and go from there
