After a bit of reading it seems that some diesels now have aluminium engine blocks so the weight has been reduced by quite a bit!

Get to work on the remaining problems!

1. Turbos add lag but power and torque. It faces the car a unique character.
2. 5 pot plus deisels sound good and with some exhaust butterflies sound unique and interesting.
