C63 Owners do you get problems?

Blue Audi drivers are much more appreciating of AMG's.... so much so I bought one and sold my S4 Audi....... and bought the C63 :thumb::thumb:

There you see it was rarely a decent Audi, more likely the odd 'rogue rep' in a rep- mobile which as we all know along with hire cars are the fastest cars on the planet

Just thinking about it angers me, and it's not even my car! :dk:

Trust me I was literally shaking. At first I was a bit shocked it happened then I was angry then I was worried as I've got to park there again Monday

I wanted to take that shopkeepers head off when he left that leaflet which wallpapered itself to my windscreen.

I've had this. Properly welded on after it rained too.

Guess what? The leaflet was for the car wash down the road!! Either very stupid or very clever.

:D :D :D

Should have asked for a free car wash :)

Neither am I mate I'm only 5'7  They say adrenalin gives you a surge of strength.

You could be a 6'9" heavyweight boxing champ and it might not end well...

Boxer shot in smoking ban row is dead | Daily Mail Online

Imran was trying to turn me to the darkside when I was at MSL last. He even tried to tempt me with W212 style tail pipes.

I was very tempted I must say!

Haha. Thing is - he just tells you how it is and knows exactly what you need after chatting with you for a moment.

I've no regrets on the mods he did to my exhaust - you get enjoyment every time you drive it. :bannana:

Was a really hot day when I found it too (had rained after they placed it there the night previous) it took me ages to scrape off

Shopkeeper was rude and didn't see the wrong it in, offered to wash peel it off if I returned on a day to suit him. I waited till it rained and stuck another of his glossy flyers on the windscreen of his white three series

I am now boycotting *cough* barred from *cough* the shop. Which sells cheap drink, I will kick myself as the summer months roll in. It's the one-stop destination before a big night out/long road trip to an event! :fail:

Estate agent I'd venture :D.

It's funny you bring this up, only today I parked in a local Council car park and as I got my ticket a middle age gentleman walk past and past coment about how nice my 63 was and we just struck up a conversation about cars. I think it's just the scum elements that inhabit this planet which we have to deal with now and again which ruins the enjoyment of decent hard working people and the things that make us happy.

Jesus! What ****holes. You'd think cctv would have got something

Yes, sad for his family and loved ones.

Unless you are armed yourself, you don't stand a lot of chance against mindless violence and actions like this.

Even a chiropractor I go to is a very strong chap and expert in martial arts - but he just says any trouble - "just walk away, it's not worth it". I've no doubt he can kick 4rse!

OK he, like anyone of us probably, would defend himself / family or friends but I think if you go looking for trouble - sometimes it might not work out well.

I know that sounds weak to some on here who would do something regardless but I personally consider the cost of doing anything - and I am not far off the size of that boxer!

I get absolutely nothing of the sort in my E63. Nothing.

What he said

Other than a few traffic light episodes I never experienced any such thing in either my C63 estate or CLS63 SB.

As an aside why do people always assume it's jealousy ? Seems to get used a lot by folk on this forum whenever anybody doesn't appreciate somebody's cars do it would seem more by C63 owners than others. You don't need to be jealous to be an unpleasant idiot !

That's what I don't get jealousy aside what possesses people to be horrible!

Nothing in their own lives? Mental illness? Probably a plethora of reasons...

I say fcuk the haters StuartK, life is too short to care about what others think. If they dont have anything good to say they can fck!n do 1.

i have had mixed reviews with the car, people coming up at petrol stations commenting on how good the car is and what experience theyve had with it and older haters with road rage pure jealous seeing a younger person driving a nice car.

hate it or love it the underdogs on top!

I think that's it, a plethora of reasons or issues that cause nasty behaviour.

I've seen some real nice people do bad things in dark times. The context of knowing them in better times helps me know they are not a bad person.

The guy on the street on the other hand, I only see their bad or nasty behaviour and judge them accordingly.

That is very true.

I've been through mental illness once which changed me considerably whilst I was in that period.

Close bereavement really ****** me up too a year ago and for a long time after. Some inexplicable moments of rage and totally losing it. Luckily helped out of it (at least my bad driving) by some friendly plod - one of whom who had been in the same situation so was quite understanding.

It's something that's made me more empathic and understanding - which probably explains my approach to it.

I've found it to be very model specific; the white X5 (*shudders*) I had really wound people up to the point that I'd have to force my way out at junctions otherwise I'd have been sat there all day yet both my E55K went relatively unnoticed except by proper petrol heads who just knew. Also had no problems in any of the RR Sports I've owned either.

I don't get any of this with the SL, people do stare at it, I get the odd nice car comment and quite a few people ask me "what is it?" but I've not had any hate or displeasure aimed my way.

Mostly it's comments from petrol station operatives, it's rare I fill up without something being said when I walk up to pay, some are a little awkward and odd to be honest.

Driving in London is interesting as people actually let me out of junctions so they can have a look at the car, that's a bonus!
