I've been looking for a while for a saloon. I want one with LSD but find you never see any for sale with the whole ppp package.

Are the full ppp cars rare ? Or is it the fact that the owners with the extra bhp just can't bring therselves to sell ?

Get an estate, they're cooler.

This one served me very well, although I note he has put the badges back on:
Mercedes-Benz C63 Amg

PS I all seriousness, the PPP was 2010 on and given that a lot of cars were sold on the finance promotions for 3 years, they will only just be starting to come onto the used market. Wait another 18months and the flood gates will well and truly open!

With the extra bhp they must be ballistic. Anyone on here own a saloon with the full ppp ?

Because they are all on lease :dk:

I do miss it, but boy are there some hefty bills due on that car.

On the roads, I am not sure but the car did feel less 'squirmy' under serious launch than the non LSD car I test drove. Helped in the snow though.

On the track, I never really pushed it too hard to find out but I never had the inside rear smoking.

I think the only downside is that it is clutch based so is after about 40k it is probably worn out and useless.

Having driven the LSD car and the non-LSD car back to back there is a noticeable confidence inspiring difference on the LSD car. I feels a lot less "tail happy" under half/full throttle exits to bends. This is particularly noticeable on wet roads. I ordered the LSD on the back of the test drives. With 507 HP you need a little help.

I've found one !! Got the lot ! PPP, LSD it's in silver. Had my heart set on a black one but saw the silver in the flesh and liked it. Think I'm gonna have to have the wheels done in graphite tho but a minor detail.

Aye, silver can look a bit bland in photos. Much better in the 'flesh' when its gleaming. Even better with some carbon fibre exterior parts on it!

As I'm new to Mercs. What sort of carbon bits can be got ? Not after totally barsardising it up but I think your right. Silver does suit a bit of carbon. Any decent firms in the uk for this. And also can you get wheels powder coated in graphite or does it have to be sprayed ?

Forum sponsor Phil@rebellion is your friend! I ordered the c/f rear diffuser from them to add to the facory option rear spoiler and wing mirrors. Looks the biz. Unsure re the wheels. If i keep the car, and i hope to, after finance deal will be putting on black 19's. at moment have the titanium option 18's.

Yeah the one I've put deposit on is only an 08 so no carbon at all. Can't afford one that comes with the carbon spoiler lol. Obviously got the 19's on this one and as there so similar to the oz superturismo rims wich I love on the silver Mercs I think I'll just have em done in the graphite. I'll try n get some prices on some carbon goodies.

Yeah !! It has. Called mercedes dealer and it all checked out. Different discs alcantara steering wheel and the extra bhp. And the LSD.

After reading the above I have called a couple of other dealers and they're saying although its got everything else. LSD alcantara wheel and brakes its still only coming up as a pp car. I'm confused now !!

Search for PP vs PPP.

PPP is more power and red brakes, PP is LSD and stiffer suspension.

PPP is only 2010 onwards...

I had a 10 plate PPP in silver, I traded it to Kenny Dunn in Edinburgh and I think the cars in Aberdeen now : ) great car I just wanted another Porsche !!!

From this..

To this and then I never used it!!
