c63 ppp with/without lsd

hi there .. this is aimed at the c63 owners .. i was wondering those who went for the ppp option did you have the limited slip differential installed as well... i have heard mixed options on this but wanted to know more info before i finalise my offer

I have experienced both and would not buy one without a lsd my p/pack 63 has a lsd as they all do.

A car that powerful should have LSD, it of course does in the fact that ESP/TC uses the brakes to limit slip, but some hard driving might overheat the rear brakes.

If you intend to use the car for fun driving i.e. trackdays, I would fit LSD option, so you still have it working when ESP is disabled.

Street driving only, probably ok without it.

Unless you like seeing the yellow triangle all the time, LSD is the only way to go.

I'm goin for c63 amg with ppp. Amg alloys command hk speakers lighting system reversing camera bird maple trim privacy glass

I'm not sure whether to get LSD as I'll only be street driving or whether to just go with model without ppp then

Its street driving where you will MOST benfit fromthe LSD - with or without PPP, just pulling out of a damp side road will likely have the TC light flickering away and cutting the power which is exactly what the LSD is designed to reduce.

The only disadvantage is the price, but on a car like that it should be standard.

From Palmballs comment I felt it was better to regret paying £1500 for it rather than regret not buying it for the next few years.

I binned off the Black 19" wheels and reversing camera to fund it.

I think that with a car this powerful the LSD is an essential but yesterday realised that it wasn't on my order as I thought it came with the PPP but doesn't. So got straight onto MB and added it. As I said to Palmball I would have been devastated if when picking my car up it wasnt on it.

My E55 had the additional AMG perfomance pack LSD fitted from factory (special order), cant say ive seen much of the yellow triangle since owning the car, but then ive not had anything to compare against!!

I think most pp/plus c63's do not have a lsd judging by the few used ones for sale i have seen i wonder how many people are aware it is a option as it was standard on the p/pack c63.
