C63 purchase advice

If you have an email address I can give you the spec etc

Haha I'm also 28! Funny you should say that as iv been looking at getting a new bike as used to do a lot but not had the time or other hobbies last few years.

I'm based in Chorley, Lancashire would much rather buy off an enthusiast than a random garage with unknown previous owners as I here the c63 engine is faily bullet proof if it has a nice full service history and sensible(ish) owner!

Got my Hawkeye Impreza to sell yet with only 35k on clock.

Appreciate all the replies on here seems a decent forum people happy to help!

That car in the link is very nice! Bit out my price range though realy looking at 30k as my maximum

No worries.

As I said, the car is in no rush to move so if you wanted to consider it for later in the year I can wait. I have the option to stick it in storage once my Alfa comes next month.

I found a lovely coupe just by chance, 2013, full carbon in and out only 18000mls
first thing i did was secondary cat delete map and Lsd,
sounds and drives great

Or get a 507, they are brilliant, wont need chipping and I think the lsd was standard

Facelift PPP has carbon boot lip, alcantara half wheel, red calipers w composite discs, 30bhp power hike courtesy of SLS internals and that's about it. Locking diff is a rare extra..

Personally I'd try to get a PPP with locking diff, otherwise I'd get a nice spec 457 car, diff it, map it and get secondary cats removed.

19" wheels look good too, PPP car discs are extortionate to replace, forgot to mention PPP cars have Firmer dampers but stock 457 dampers are really firm enough for road use.

Ideal spec would be IMO,

Saloon w red interior
Button start
Harmon Kardon
Reverse camera
Locking diff / perf pack
19" wheels
Carbon interior trim + carbon Mirrors and privacy glass

I was adament I wanted a PPP car when I bought mine but sadly missed out on one with nearly all the options I wanted. Few months later got my current car which is really nice, quaife diff, map, cats removed 19'' forged 507 wheels with all the driving packs. Sadly black interior with aluminium trim.

Better get your facts right on this forum!

Facelift cars with perf pack DO have firmer dampers, it's not a seperate option. It part of the per pack. I think PPP refers to prefacelift cars..

You can get a face-lift E63 5.5 turbo for under 30k now...very quick cars and easily map to 650-700 if tuning is your thing

No, PPP covered both pre (2010 on) and facelift cars. The suspension was a cost option.

The 2008/9 performance package had the stiffer suspension.

Actually, having owned both the pre and facelift PPP saloons I can say that the facelift actually feels less crashy thanks to better geometry
