Hello Guys.

I am approaching a years ownership with my 2010 C63.

Now previously with cars, i tended to just service my cars every year. (bare in mind i have had EVO's which require an oil change ALL the time). What should be the protocol with the C63?

I have done about 3500 miles in that year, so not a whole lot of useage. Should i get it serviced every year, regardless of whether my dash computer tells me or not? Or should i just wait until the computer tells me its time.

Further, what service would likely be due at around 48000 miles anyway? A typical B service?

Also, I went to dig out my service book to look into previous services and for the life of me could not find it...i had never removed any paperwork from the glovebox! Is the service history kept electronically within the car? I contacted the place i purchased the car (they are very reputeable with prestige cars) and this is what they informed me and provided a breakdown of how i could find it through the sterring wheel controls. Does this sound right? I know....i cant remember ever seeing it when i bought the car.:wallbash: but it did come with FSH. I would check but i am working in brazil for another month!

Any help would be great.

Cheers, Phil

AMG cars require servicing at 10k miles or 12 months whichever comes soonest. The OBC will advise the required service, your dealership will check for other time based service requirements

Your car will have an electronic service record maintained within the MB dealer network, accessible/updateable by independents with the correct online Xentry systems. You should still have a service book detailing the service schedules?

I'm pretty sure intervals for c63 are 12 or 12.5 k miles or 12 months at latest.

Correct 12.5k or 12 months.

Op your car should be due an A service now.

Cheers lads...i appreciate it...i am guessing when i turn the car on in a months time when i am back from Brazil, i well get a nice message telling me 'I want serviced'

Nemesis. Is it possible to view the service details and history first person or does it have to be accessed through a dealership?

Dealership should be able to print off the service record for you.
Not sure if the latest Mercedes Me online portal gives direct access.
