Hi,

I know this has probably been asked many times but I'm asking again

Looking to get into a C63, test drove a 59 plate and was very impressed, however I have a few options and can't decide what to go for.

2010 C63 standard - under £30k, bargain of the century?
2010 C63 Performance Pack - £35k
2011+ C63 125 Edition - £37k
2011+ C63 507 - £I wish

I'm toying between either a pre-facelift with performance pack or facelift in standard guise, I do think the standard with *only* 457 BHP would be plenty and the facelift looks a lot nicer inside.

Oh and all those options are saloon only.

Oh the dilemma!

I'd go for the facelift because of the better MCT gearbox and the nicer interior.

Then send it to Rebellion Automotive and they'll take it up to 550bhp for you :)

Facelift PPP, never better....apart from the reported rattles.

The current version is available in 125 PPP but they are limited because they replaced it with the 507, is that correct?

The 507 replaced the performance package. If you look at Mercedes website you can compare the options, currently available. The 125 models were on sale sometime back to commemorate Mercedes anniversary.

I had the same 'dilemma' as you. In the end I went for a standard facelift model (demo on a 13 reg) and saved a lot of money versus buying new or buying a PPP/507. Then take the std model to MSL or similar and have it mapped and get more that the 507bhp anyway :thumb:

The 125 ppp edition was available from 2011 until 2013. The ppp is no longer available on the standard model as an option but is included in the 507 package.

There are a couple of 125's in black with ppp for just under £40k from Mercedes dealers on 61 plates if your budget can stretch that far. If you are in no rush I would wait until just after Xmas for a better deal on a used 125 ppp.

Thanks everybody, some good info there.

It's going to be after Xmas anyway so I'll see what's around and make a choice then.

I do like the facelift version though so perhaps I can make do with the 'standard' performance!!

Cheers

I would personally purchase late December as this is a quite time for dealers and you will probably get a better deal as used car prices will go up in the first part of the year as the demand increases heavily whereas December is always a very quiet time in the motor trade and people still have targets to hit so margins tend to go down!

Thanks Simon

Facelift standard then use the extra money for a map
