C63 with bucket seats

are there members that have bucket seats installed in their C63?

I'm 6'6 and have an issue with the stock seats, which are fab!, but don't go low enough.

I bought Recaro Pole Position, same as used in the black series, and mounted them to the stock electrical sliding part of the stock seat.

Also installed the Reacaro side airbag delete module
also installed the stock seatbelt plug and plugged it into the yellow connector

but now I still get an error message and my steering wheel won't slide in and out.

(It all works again when I install my stock seats back)


anyone any idea's?

You could put a post on mbworld.org - its an American forum and there are a lot of modders on there...

I want to install the black series bucket seats in my C63 after having fitted them at MBWorld on the SLS that was there.
This solves my issue with the stnd seating being to high!

Basically it's just a recaro Pole Position bucket with a different, manual, sliding rail from MB.

But I"m interested to know what they did with the wiring loom to disable all the errors you get when you take out the stock seats.
