Hi, Is there anyway I can tell if my 1995 w124 e250 should have been fitted with cabin dust filters, ie: from the vin number. the reason I asked is the Main dealer charged me for replacing them at a major service a few years back. Now I have the time to do my own servicing, I find they are not fitted in my vehicle. I think I was ripped off to be honest. Any help would be welcome, Thankyou.

They are variously referred to as DUST FILTERS or POLLEN FILTERS WIS describes them as dust filters. They were of the pleated type.
