Hi all,

Both cabin filters are missing... Tut tut...
The odd thing is that the air flow with the fan at full speed is not that great?
Its not blowing hard.
Would that be the cause or something in stuck in the pipes?

The inside air/ recirculating cab flap is open, just to say.

Cheers.

Has your E300TD got the full climate control ?
Both of mine have had the basic air con and only one cabin filter element.

The E430 has the climate control and has 4 cabin filter elements ... fitted in two pairs.

Which is yours ?

He has the auto...two cabin filters, and two charcoal filters.

I only saw two slot for the filters under the glove-box? Not 4? Where are the other 2 suppose to be?
I am a wee wondering for how long it has been running like that and if the conduit are a bit blocked?
Or would it be the other filters blocked?
Cheers :)

The other two are accessed from below...in the passenger footwell.

Hi Renault,
Those are the 2 missing, under the glove box ( passenger footwell) , where are the other 2 then?
Its a mystery...
Still love your painting by the way :D

Top Class R12 :)
The filters are really bad... No wonder it wasn't pulling any air...
Now I am going to turn them upside down and put them bak in the slot and the air flow will clean them, how about that as a great idea   :D :p .

Clean them first by compressed air or suck with a hoover. New filters aren't that dear. Cheers, T.

When I bought the E430, the two filters accessed from the seat-well were pretty new.
The two intake filters behind the glove box looked like they'd been there for years.
There were leaves, bits of tree and all sorts of rubbish in them.
As tonyc280 says - They are not all that expensive.
If you can remove the air intake plastic grill in front of the screen, you can look down and see them.
I find that a guiding hand from above sometimes helps to get them positioned correctly.
It can be a bit fiddly from inside the car.

Cheers.
Was going to get them today but other thing has occurred.
