So I bought the Cabrio-Plus module for the CLK from the German manufacturer

Had it fitted today (I managed a folding mirror kit on our Qashqai last year but there's a lot more wires and a complicated Canbus on the CLK) in just over half an hour.
I can now open and close the roof off the key, have one touch operation off the switch and can increase the speed the roof operates at (still set at a snails pace though, due to the vertical opening of the boot hatch)
It did cost a few quid, but is a nice touch and the kids think remote opening is cool (as do I!)
The instructions, whilst in English, left a little to be desired (referring to coloured wires, when the module only had grey ones) so be warned if anyone considers a DIY install.
