As some of you are aware I dabble with 3D printing. A close mate has recently had to say goodbye to little Titch the family jack russell. He asked me if it was possible to create a 3d of him from photographs ? My initial research leads me think it can be done, have any of you done this ? My knowledge of CAD is as in the song "TOO LOW FOR ZERO" I would love to make this happen for him and his wife. They have just had the first holiday since Titch died and his wife broke down at the front door because she knew Titch would not be there to greet her.

If anyone could help me achieve this mission to create a 3D STL file it would bring so many happy memories back to a lovely family.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

No. I can't seem to get to grips with basic CAD so I think AI would just give me a nightmare.
It’s just that I have been using OnShape (CAD software) for the last 3 years to design parts and products for my coursework and am now very sufficient in it - but creating natural forms - like a model dog I would find impossible. But you could ask an AI to make the STL for you potentially based on your pictures. It might not have perfect likeness but worth a go?
