Caliper Colour

Good afternoon chaps/chapettes...

Just pondering over changing the colour of my brake calipers on my E63. The stock ones on are a beautiful finish, but in a boring gunmetal grey colour. Thinking of changing to Red, for the `S ` Look !
Been advised to get these done properly i.e. Removed from car, stripped, powder coated and lacquered over AMG decals, re-assemble & fit to car.
This has to be better than masking and rattle canning on such a nice car.

Has anyone done this and regretted it ?

Can anyone recommend someone in the Manchester area ?

Thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi mate, theres a place in Heywood that will do it (Pentagon Auto Tints). I had my windows tinted by them they're very good and look after your car. They also do bodywork. Buy yourself the AMG decals and they will laquer them into the new caliper colour. Had it priced up myself it was around £50 per caliper.
