A CLK320 is a good midlife crisis car and cheap as chips, lovely engine.

Another good option is the Jaguar XK8 convertible. Its got the ford designed V8 4.0 engine and is bombproof, again, very cheap

Both are 2+2

:D So you went for the Mondeo instead, same but cheaper to run? :D

Actually I got the Mondy 2.2. Diesel estate Titanium X variant to cart a Greyhound I had at the time. He's now no longer with us, and the Cocker Spaniel takes up no space so dog specific transport is no longer required. Mondy only has 40k on a 58 plate, and (he touches wood) has never once let us down.

I bought a BMW 528iSE (1998) instead of the Ferrari - far cheaper to run. Prior to that was a Beemer 318i Convertible (1996). After the 528 was a 330Ci Convertible, all were bought new, back in the days when I had money...LOL!

Clearly I shall have to go and have a butchers at some of these suggestions, I just need the Mondy until after we've moved house since I'll use it to do much of that work, only sofa and divan bed that doesn't really fit in it, and no I'm hoping to not move far. Just got to get our house past that survey!
