Im in the middle of doing a gas conversion I have the 2.0 16v engine in the W124.

Im after the passenger side hot water pipe and the return pipe. Am I correct in thinking that the hot water runs through the bulk head on the passenger side (gee wizz ey) into a Metal pipe? But where is the return??

    Regards

    James

Return is via the duo valve.

----via 2 flexible pipes from the bulkhead located on the driver's side beside the brake servo/master cylinder. Most people T' their regulator coolant feed take off pipe into the nearside heater feed line as you said and plumb in the regulator coolant return pipe into the single heater return pipe after the duo valve- effectively creating a coolant circuit in parallel with the heater circuit. If you remove the air cleaner box you will see the heater return pipe more clearly to T' into. Its ' part metal/part flexible pipe and leads to the water pump.
