My initial thoughts were a W124 which has been chopped and made into a pick up.

However, looking at a bit more detail, it seems to be a W126 "S Class" with the same chop. There's probably a logical explanation for leaving the rear doors in place though it's not coming to me at the moment.

I think that leaving it alone may prove to have been a wise decision. :D

Maybe the rear doors open to reveal ‘cubby‘ cupboards.
keep all your tools secure?
maybe one side is a beer fridge🍻 haha

low miles 34k km, ..... but I’m not too tempted, the Tonneau cover looks gash.

'ORRIBLE ! Someone in the states came up with a Silver Shadow pickup, same problem, wrong car to chop up, better to have broken it for parts.

Thank you for your help,
Surprisingly it didn't attract any bids but it had a start price of 490,000yen about £3300 of our English pounds

The seats are worth that much.
