can anyone tell me were the starter motor is on a c220 cdi atuo 2002 pls

hi all i took my car to the garage the other day and had some work done then they phoned me to say its done but they thought they better let me no i have a doggey starter motor funny thing is there was no probs with it before they now it keeps spinning and not catching they said its proberly not going forward and gave me a price to sort it out but i dont want to take it back there can some one tell me were it is on the engine c220 cdi auto 2002 pls

On a manual C220 cdi, it's on the passenger side & a real bi-ch to get at, you'll need a long extention on a socket to reach it.
