Can anyone tell on here tell spec from Reg number?

I am looking at buying a used MB car, and need to know the optional extras it has, does anyone have the ability to tell this from just the registration number please?

I doubt that this is possible - you'll need to obtain the vehicle's VIN.

The Vin number is normally displayed on the top of the dash just underneath the windscreen. Make a note of it the next time you see the car and look it up in one of the many websites that let you do this?
