Hi. I've had this bus for a couple of years. It's a plaxton conversion on a 2004 413 CDI.
The tacho has always drained the battery, it takes about 3 weeks of standing. This time it was standing for a lot longer and the tacho RAM memory must have drained too. I now have no instruments working. I've taken the tacho out and unplugged it, but the circuit still causes a parasitic drain, I assume this is because the circuit still forces the dashboard odometer and clock to be powered up.
I would really like to remove it and have the dash working as normal. I'ver done some googling about how this can be done, but I admit to being a bit confused on this one! Does anyone know whether this would just need remapping, or are there other steps involved - such as re-routing the wiring?
Many thanks in advance.
