Can I upgrade my NTG2 easily?

Hi.

I have just purchased a W164 ML320 and it came with a functioning command unit with buttons on the side of the screen. I think this is an early NTG2??

Is it possible to swap it for a later model? I want to swap the existing phone cradle for a blue tooth unit and add a rear view camera and figure I may as well put the money towards an upgraded command with it integrated?

I have a W204 c class with a much newer commend that makes the ML command look very dated!

I suspect that if your COMAND NTG2 is swappable, then it will be swappable with NTG2.5.
