Thanks for advice, much appreciated lol
i new on here pal, no point getting your hair off, what i posted wasnt on a bad way, more of a way of asking the question again, so do me a favour, if you know the answer then reply, otherwise you got too much TIME on yours hands! p.s no more back chat thank you. :bannana:
Not sure what "getting your hair off " means, presumably some quaint colloquialism, but if I wish to reply I will.
As you say, you are new here so a few manners would not go amiss, you could have just bumped the thread and asked again and if you had posted the additional information with your initial post then you may have received a more timely response.
That is a good question that I'm sure someone will be able to answer.
What I do know is that the ADS equipped R129's have very very good suspension characteristics (when working correctly).
Personally I would stick to the original MB springs as these are precisely rated according to your car with weight of your particular cars configuration and accessories used in their calculation. (something that aftermarket springs wont do).
Before you change the springs though, it would be useful to know what your symptoms are as usually, it's not the springs at fault.
[edit] Your ride height is not normally determined by the springs on an ADS equipped car. This can be adjusted both in the car and by adjusting the valve (lever position) underneath the car.
The valve Blocks can normally be refurbished. Is it the front or the rear that's gone? Is it leaking?
When you say that the handling is all over the place, can you be more specific - (too hard, too soft?)
