Can I use new veg oil

Can anyone let me know if I can use new clean veg oil to run my car.

1997 e300 td elegance w210.

If you could let me know without getting too technical that would be great.

If you don't want to get 'too technical'...running veg. is not for you.
Order up some new fuel pipe O rings quite soon. And the shut off solenoid O ring.

The E300 is an IDI diesel with a Bosch pump so yes it's good to go just put it in the tank, but don't put too high concentration in at first, and yes you might well spring a few leaks along the fuel system.

I run my 202 on new veg oil, it is fine. The problem is only with common rail fuel systems, the older the car the better. Beware problems in the cold weather, it will wax up and block fuel lines. This time of year is fine, but i mix 25% kerosene in winter. Good luck.

On the 606 engine (and the 605 for that matter) you may get some ring gumming after a good few thousend miles.
This can be sorted with water injection but then you're getting into the technical stuff.
