Can someone help me with fitting mirrors?

I have a set of W210 mirrors, I have taken the covers off but then I'm stumped as to how to fit them to my W202. Any help amongst the technical minded amongst you?

No no Dec you misunderstood me, the W210 blinker mirrors do fit the W202 but with some degree of modification to the plugs which can be done either car side or mirror side. The modification of the plug on the mirror means that the mirrors can be reverted to standard whereas doing it the other way means only W210 mirrors can be fitted.

I just need to know some simple (fool proof ) instructions on how to do this.

O.k. I didn’t know that. I presume you will be keeping the existing side blinkers?
You would need to put up a picture showing…
The back of the W210 mirror glass.
The inside of the W210 mirror housing showing the terminals on the blinker light and any connector plugs.

I would suggest you go to a scrap yard and get all the plugs/connectors inside an existing W210 mirror (both sides) with as much of the wiring as possible intact (at least 3 inches) You could take a picture of an existing W210 setup.
That way you can make the connections for the mirror tilt adjuster and the heating element inside the mirror housing.
You will still have to run wires from the side blinker, into the door and up and out into the mirror to power the new W210 blinker.

............ Ok had a look, it clears up the story a little but still doesnt explain how to change the plug over so the mirror is a straight swap. Where's Steve from MBenzNL when you need him

Mercedes C200 (w203) door mirror

Hi does anyone know how to wire up a fixed heated electrically NSF door mirror, last week a idot decided to pull the whole mirror and cover of the door and then leave the casing on the floor, ripping out the wirng plug.
As i was using the car as a wedding transportation for a family member i managed to obtain a mirror casing and had it fitted by a merc specialist with the existing cover.
He was unable to wire it up as the casing didn't have a plug, all i have got is 6 wires which can be fitted to the pins if i new what the colours meant, any ideas would be much appreciated..........
