Can someone recommend the best place for OE (or OE quality) rear disks for my CLS55?

Rears I think, getting some shuddering through the car

Thanks, Colin

eurocarparts seem reasonable at £32 a pop with the discount.

MB genuine discs for the monster you have would be my advice. They will give a discount!

Think you'll find they're the same thing.

So which brand are you meaning, Pagid?
Do you reckon these are OE?

Think you'll find they're the same thing.

Personally I'd try and buy genuine,Bosch or Zimmerman in that order for that type of car, pagid will not be genuine supplier.

Thanks John, see below from them.
Hi Colin
Thanks for your enquiry, the front discs are £180 for the pair including shipping and the rear £130 for the pair including shipping and I have these available from stock. If you wish to purchase please let me know and I will place a separate listing.
Regards rob
Although this listing has ended and is nothing to do with brakes please give these guys a try. A forum member put this dealer on here a couple of days ago and they have some amazing reductions. Postage may cost a bob or two though!!!!

Der...that Pagid IS the OEM supplier.

Only going by what I've read on this forum and others rather than personal experience though :dk:

Just got a rely from another MB dealer, £140 front, £122 rear, both sets including pads and sensors for £363.94, delivered free.
I'm thinking of buying the lot at that price.

That doesn't sound too bad overall, the price of the pads must be very good, do you mind if I ask which MB dealer?

If you do get them, is there also any chance you could scour them for clues to their origins as it would be good to know who really does make them for future reference?

Update, booked in to MB Hamilton for rear disk and pad change @ £290

Inc VAT, not too bad I think for AMG brakes.
Fronts are fine ATM

Colin.

I'm sure Sean of C240Sport97 fame had his CLS AMG Discs + pads changed at a good price. He mentioned it at the last GTG at Brooklands.

Worth PMing him

Chaps I've now bought a full set of AMG front pads from one of the online MB dealers for £50 shipped which I thought was a terriffic price.
I don't need these but could not pass up the price.
Proper boxed up fully MB marked with an MB invoice.

They are stamped PAGID 889FF

that is a sensational price .. normal price is about £180. A front set is actually 8 pads, as you need 4 on each side.
