One of my latest frustrations is listening to the radio or a CD and then the Traffic program cuts in. To cancel this if it is not in your direct area it seems you have to press any button on the Comand system in the central console. i.e. phone button, mute button, map button etc etc.

Is there any way you can cancel the Traffic intervention on the mult-function steering wheel? I have tried pressing everything and nothing seems to work.

Has anyone found a way to do this, or is this is possible improvement for MB??

At a guess... try holding the MUTE button.

Yes. Hold it until box around "TP" indicator goes

The problem is there is no mute button on the multi function steering wheel. Unless it is hidden. All I have is 4 buttons on left and 4 on right. On the right the phone conect and put down, + and - for volume on left it is up down arrows for menu navigation and menu buttons.

Mute is on the central console and this does work, but I want to cancel from the steering wheel.

Centre console or nothing I think. As far as I know cannot mute it from the steering wheel.

hi the stalk on the linguatronic does it as well if you have it, otherwise it's the console

cheers
