Teenager has bike seized moments after buying it

A teenager who had just bought a bike had it seized by police due to having no insurance.

the best bit is what he said to police " Rider didn’t think he needed insurance as his parents were behind him in their car and they were insured.".....................

Yes they do walk, or in this case ride amongst us.

. probably bought privately , a dealer bike would have MOT , presume parents gave him a lift to go collect it . He has no insurance .

Presume parents were aware of one or all of these things .......apple don't fall far from the tree. I bet if the cop's had a nose around the parents car they might also find something amiss.

I blame the parents,
in part anyway.

Clearly they were complicit in his education on this.

I wonder if the Plod checked out their legalities
