Many moons ago I received an email that had that 2nd picture included as an attachment along with the text caption...

Hello all,

I wonder if you could do me a big favour, a friend of mine Shamsa Khan and
a few of her friends from the East (or there abouts) are camping their way
around England.

They have asked me if I know where they might be able to go without
spending large amounts of money. I said I would try you and your friends for
accommodation. I realise many of your friends are in different parts of
the U.K., so I thought you could forward this on to them.

They travel light and bring all their own camping gear, and only require a
small space to set up. I have given them your name and address anyway in
anticipation that you won't mind. I have enclosed a picture to help with
identification if they turn up. They may bring the green Mercedes or the
white one - sometimes they use both. Thanks in advance
