Guys

Got some decision making to do and as always appreciate input from the forum !

We have a 2000 Ford KA work horse (rust, leaking, noisy) but we love it and I can put a length of 2x4 in it.

I (I saw I and not we as SWMBO doesn't entertain the idea of driving it) have the W202 which doesn't see any DIY duties.

Dilemma is we have just got a 'hand-me-down' SEAT Arosa facelift which is a great little car and has an interior that feels like you are in an Audi of some description. Selling this is not an option as it is a gift.

So, do I sell the W202 and KA for something fast, fun and practical - is this even possible ? W210 E55 / Volvo T5 Estate ?

Or get something purely for fun ? Honda S2000 tickles the fancy.

Makes no sense to have a KA and a SEAT.

SEAT has already become A-B and known as Pat due to being the same shape as Postman Pat's van !

Thanks

Chris

You keep your W202, SWMBO gets the SEAT and the KA is still the workhorse.

You both have cars that you can enjoy and a shared one to take care of the mundane duties.

You might even find that a multicar insurance policy gives you free insurance on the KA.

^ great idea, something I hadn't considered due to space, but depends on the £££s

Get rid of the KA while it's still in one piece. They are the #1 car round here for failing an MOT due to structural rust. Most get weighed in after the MOT fail

It's rusty on the A pillars for some reason ?!

Just an update . . .

KA sold this morning, didn't help that the power steering dumped its vital fluids on the road, lol

Summer wheels going back onto the W202 over the weekend weather permitting - be nice to use WOT again !
