Car Door - Unique Notice Board?!

I am looking for a unique notice board to put up in my garage - I was thinking along the lines of a car passenger door and use magnets to stick pics etc on it...

This is off a W116, which certainly looks neat, but the rubber trim is a pain

Can anyone suggest a Mercedes door that is more slab-sided ie large flatish surface area?

I like the chrome etc on the W116!!

(My garage is eclectic... )

How about a door from a clk. There's no window frame to worry about and they are long enough.

I would have thought an old bonnet would be better.
Bigger area and probably flatter and lighter.

I'd throught about a bonnet and although I could get one with a flat badge, the size would overwhelm the space I want to use it on and there isn't the same "character".

CLK sounds good - I'd thught about an R170 SLK too - very large space without trim.

I still quite like something a little older though - maybe a W123 coupe or any S Class?
