car play not working?

hi, i’m wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to get my car play working, i was fiddling on earlier and i think i’ve turned it off or something because when i’ve got back in my car it won’t work? But it charges my phone, can anyone help here cause i use car play every day. Thanks

Sometimes mines just works - other times I have to unlock the iPhone before Car Play will start up.

I has to plug in a different iphone and it worked straight away when i put mine in after, strange!
