Could you post a clearer message when you are on a laptop or something? Guessing you are using a phone and predictive text, so your question does not really make sense. Thanks

Poor and/or corroded battery terminal connections?? Bad battery ground?

hi My 2003 SLK Kompressor wont start yet all lights come on as well as the radio
A merc garage has which is looking at it has send me the following message

Further testing done and found if i remove the battery support unit the vehicle does not start, tested battery ok tried known good battery, still has fault
when battery support connected vehicle starts every time but removed get the start error message/connected battery support and i can get alter the voltage output
12 volts- non start
12.5 volts -non start
13 volts -non start
13.5 volts -non start
14 volts vehicle starts
he says it indicates a connection wire or module issue
he says he has tried the autel snap on and off line merc tool and it does not communicate
He says he needs to try on-line tool but that it could take a very time consuming fault to trace as the fault could be anywhere on the car and as such needs at least a further three hours or even longer to trace it
Before the above message he says he checked the starter
I am worried this could go on and on costing a arm and leg has anybody got any suggestions in case he comes back with no answer other than a big bill
I have wrote the text as it came to me
