Carbon Skinning v OEM Replacements

Hi all,

Anyone got any experience with carbon skinned interior trim?

How does it look in comparison to OEM carbon trim I don't want to go the wrapping route as to me it just doesnt look right regardless and I would rather have a more OEM finish to it.

Also any photos of anyone who has had some carbon skinning would be great too

Yes, but not in a Mercedes.
Depends on who you use for the skinning really, but generally, it will look better than OEM.
You'd be best to send a piece of already skinned trim for them to match the weave to.
I agree with wrapping, it looks nothing like real carbon fibre!
