Just running thru an idea..
Very much liking our s210 320 CDi - great mechanically at 96k miles and fits the bill. A later s211 with simmilar engine / miles is going to cost a lot more if looking to replace.. The car fits the bill for what it does very well and have not real need to replace it, its just so useful and efficient.
The only thing i can see on the horizon is the envitable tin worm.. the car has been sprayed before and looks good, but i know it will return..
So i was thinking.. when the rust breakes thru.. how about localised repair and considering wrapping the car.. that way don't need to worry about expensive spraying and if there are further issues with rust, wrap can be removed, corrosion fixed and re-wrapped..
Aside from this a stealth 'blackbird' or carbon e-class wagon might look pretty unique and such finishes are popular with more current uber wagons..
Has anyone see a 210 carbon wrapped before?
I know its going to get up the nose of some people!
Cheers JK
