How much it would cost to add my 25yr old daughter to my wife's Focus policy?

Daughter has just started lessons and would like, after a few more, to get some extra "tuition" and practice using the same car as her AA driving school, a manual Ford Focus.
She has enquired how much extra it would be to added as a named driver on my wife's 2001 Focus valued at around £600.

I'll update tomorrow if anyone cares to guess how much was quoted

Too many variables to guess but having gone through this with my 18yr old son I'd say certainly more than the value of the car?

I ended up with a dedicated learner policy from Collingwood, no more expensive than adding him onto my insurance plus they refunded the unused premium once he'd passed his test. Can only recommend them.

I reckon it will be quite low, as I did the same for my daughter when she was a learner.

However, when she passed her test, it was another story!

I think we paid about £30 a month to add her, so about £360 for the year?
